Sick Day Formula!

Its becoming that time again when cold/flu season is coming up and we aren't feeling are best. I have come up with a couple of things that make me feel better and I hope they help you. I hate this season as I feel like I have no energy and that I can't be bothered to do anything, which I hate!! I hope theses help if you try them.


Food/Drink/Medicine
When your ill you need something warm to make you feel better. Soup is really good for that, I love soup its so warming when your cold and ill. Drinking tea or hot drinks when your ill can make you feel so warm. I drink a traditional honey and lemon drink. All it is, is
/honey/
/lemon/
/hot water/
Medicine is an essential for when your ill, but you must check with an adult or doctor to see which ones you are aloud or can have.



Entertainment
You can get really bored when your ill as you can't do much. I like to read magazines and book or watch some good movies. i have chosen; From Notting Hill With Love...Actually by Ali McNamara, The Pointless Book by Alfie Deyes, Company Magazine and Harry Potter.


Comfort
Being comfortable is very important when your ill as you probably will be in that spot all day. i normally have;
 /a blanket to keep me warm and to be comfortable/
/a hot water bottle, well that explains itself/
/Warm socks to keep my feet/



Cleanliness
Being clean when your ill is important as you have more germs and bacteria around you and it makes you feel better. Simply washing your face can be so refreshing, I use the 'Simple Kind To Skin Moisturising Facial Wash'. Moisturising you face is good to keep the moisture in it while you are ill. I use the 'No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream'. Lip balm is important as your lips get very chapped not only in the cold weather but when your ill to. Some of my favourites are 'The Body Shop' 'Lip Butter' (left) and 'Born Lippy' (right). I personally don't like wearing make up when i am ill as i don't like the thought of having stuff on my face when i could fall asleep.


Hair

You don't want to do much with your hair as your probably going to be laying in bed most of the day. I like to either put may hair up in a messy bun to have it out of my face or have it just down naturally.



Happiness
When you ill your not feeling you best and can't do much, but just remember to do something that makes you happy...
